This shop moved into the Storrs Center Aug 9th 2012. We were located on Rt 195 since 1951 as Skoras Barber Styling Shop. In this new location and as Head Husky Barber Styling Shop now there is a combination of over 93 years of experience between 3 Barbers. Two barber shop merged and created a wonderful and asome shop that takes you back to the blast from the past of the 1950's. It all original fixtures with haircuts that can be done from that time period to present. Come and see for your self and get a personalized cut just for you. We dont mind cutting your hair to your preference.

The barbershop is a setting from the 1950's. First as Campus Barber to Skoras Barber Stying Shop to what it is now Head Husky Barber styling shop. The furniture alone brings the customers back to the good old days when men used to come in to get shaves. Haircuts like fades, edgeups, flattops, high and tights are still done along with ROTCs. Spikes, foehocks, ceasars, and designs are more popular now with the younger generation. Shop stays busy with alot of request needed to suit customers likes. Faculity and staff from Uconn along with the athletics department are frequant customers. We still have customers that come to the shop since its been open in 1951. They have great stories from the past. So come in and get an experience from the early years and join the Head Husky Team!
