For the past 30 years we have been creating, building, remodeling and decorating. Our passion is taking abandoned treasure that has been forgotten in the attic, basement, or garage, and creating a truly unique piece to enhance your home. We have traveled the back roads of southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois finding unique treasures to showcase in our shop. We also have over 30 local artisans displaying their wares at Stewdio9 and beautiful consignment furniture. Stewdio9 was created from our name "Stewart" and 9 is Mark's favorite number. We started in a small shop out of our home. Last Christmas Mark and I started dreaming about the ideal setting we would like to have our shop in. We envisioned a small farm setting with the shop in a barn. We saw a long tree lined driveway leading back to a quaint barn with a front porch and mature trees. We were driving through Historic Millburn, IL in the Spring and discovered a shop for rent in a "BARN"! We pulled into this beautifully tree lined driveway next to a majestic 1860s mansion, back to a charming barn with a front porch. Everything we have hoped and dreamed of for a shop is right here! We started on the front porch and small shop and have expanded in the 3 months we have been there to the middle of the barn and a truly unique "MAN ZONE" upstairs.
