Initially established in Allentown, PA, Sommerville Pottery is a family run pottery business now located in Pulteney, New York. With more than 30 years of experience working with clay, Monica Sommerville, produces functional wheel-thrown pottery in her home studio located on the west side of Keuka Lake. From mugs to bowls, plates, covered dishes, and more, Sommerville Pottery produces more than 100 different pieces of functional stone-ware. The work is glazed in a wide range of glazes including blue, brown, red, and green shades. Custom pottery orders can be arranged. Classes are offered for children and adults in beginning wheel-throwing, hand-building, and glazing.
