Departing from Moss Landing, Sea Goddess Whale Watching is situated at the ideal location at the mouth of the Monterey Bay Submarine Canyon abundant with rich nutrients where the whales and dolphins are often feeding.
With one of the top Marine Biologists in all of Monterey as our naturalist, you will learn all about these magnificent mammals and their migration through one of the world's premier whale watching areas.
Our passengers get excited about seeing whales up close interacting with the boat (which they do sometimes voluntarily), and others get excited seeing predation events whether it is orcas during a fresh kill or humpbacks lunge feeding at the surface!
Sea Goddess has been used as a whale watching vessel for over 25 years. With a captain and crew with years of experience on the Monterey Bay, we will take you out to see whales in their natural environment.
Moss Landing provides plenty of parking close to the docks with a lower parking rate than Santa Cruz or Monterey and has excellent seafood, Mexican, and other restaurants within walking distance.

The company was created in 2011 and is owned by Captain Jim Davis and Kate Cummings, a knowledgeable naturalist. Both Jim and Kate have a deep respect for the ocean and its inhabitants.
