I founded Ella & Anni in 2012 (Ella is my sweet dog, a rescue pup). I plan to design and produce a variety of dog toys, all made in the USA, as well as a line of healthy treats, also made in the USA. I will donate 5% of sales to North Shore Animal League, which took loving care of Ella until I was lucky enough to find her. My first line of toys is called "Throw them to the Dogs!" It is a series of four cotton chew toys depicting candidates in the 2012 Presidential race. They toys are named: Bow-Wow Barack, Mitt for Mutts, Old Dog, Newt Tricks and Ruff Rick. They are made of untreated cotton, printed with nontoxic ink and stuffed with USDA-certified organic cotton fiberfill. They are very funny, and beautifully handmade.
