Roxy Music, was founded in 1939 by Ray Ratajik, and Pau Laresch. Both played in local area band venues, and realized the need for a local musical instrument store. Ray played clarinet, and Paul was a trumpet player, and later actually built trumpets to sell at Roxy Music. Both were very talented, and well known in the northern Indiana, southern Michigan area. The very first location of Roxy Music was at the corner of Indiana and Lincolnway downtown LaPorte. Roxy Music was one of three other establishments in the huge "Roxy Theater" plaza on the corner.

We are a small family farm that takes pride in growing the older heritage varieties of vegetables from years past. We feel that it is well within our reach to keep these varieties preserved and reintroduce them to our customer's palates so that they can be like us and fall in love all over again, with nature as it was intended to be.
