The Monson General Store has served Monson for over a hundred years since the building was rebuilt and became the general merchandise store. In the past 10 years Tim Anderson, with help from family, has renovated & restored the store to a true general store & has occasionally had such things as an arcade, short-order food service, morning coffee gab sessions, and, of course, the Famous Friday Night Monson Jam Sessions along with general merchandise including everyday staples, beer, wine, sodas, hiker supplies, hardware, hunting & fishing supplies & skiing resources. The store brought in new management in September, welcoming back some of the morning coffee & some short-order food service, as well as shuttle service - call for arrangements - and much more!
