Mad Meadow is the bold, crazy fun, colorful, work of homesteading husband and wife team Mike Ellis Allen and Kate Allen. Kate is a domestic goddess with a Bachelors Degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Making from Maine College of Art and Mike is a woodworker and jack of all trades. The current work is in jewelry and accessories, but we also make apparel and will occasionally post some artwork. We work in many different materials but as of late it's been Sterling Silver, Feathers, Resin, Wood , Paper, Ribbon, and Thread or Yarn. Everything in the shop is handmade by us (with exception a some findings). The resin is all hand cast, most metalwork is fabricated by ourselves, the crochet is all hooked by our hands, the wood is turned on our lathe, and the para-cord is woven by our fingers.
