A line designed to fulfill a passion that started from a very young age. As a young girl, I would always go through my mom's jewelry collection and wear them around the house. When anyone asked me what do I want for my birthday, the answer would be jewelry. Not sterling silver, not pure gold and not even diamonds, but fashion jewelry. I believe that jewelry is a reflection of one's self, mood and personality. But then, there was a problem. As a frequent fashion jewelry buyer, I found myself constantly disappointed with the quality of the pieces. After extensive research on different jewelry making components and workshops, I decided to launch House of Zada in 2012. I can honestly say it has been an overwhelming yet rewarding experience. Designing jewelry is the time designated for me to allow my creativity to take over and enjoy the final product. It is fun, exciting, creative and challenging to say the least. My biggest inspiration comes from my rich and timeless Egyptian heritage where lots of chunky and bold gemstone inspired pieces are a mainstay. My second main inspiration comes from the Caribbean and all its vibrant and rich colors that radiate an instant feel good factor. That is my ultimate goal every time someone puts on one of my handmade pieces. By combining my attention to detail and incorporating sterling silver, silver filled, vermeil and gold filled components, I can promise your favorite piece will be around for seasons to come.
