Zia Arms was started by my father in the late 1950s, and he ran the business until he passed away in 2001. As per his wishes, I continued the business. I had worked with my father on the business for about 10 years before this time. I do special order only and firearm transfers for now; I plan to open a storefront in a few years as funds become available. At this time, my special orders are mostly for law enforcement officers, since I have many friends at all levels of law enforcement. I work out of my home and keep no stock. I place small orders frequently, and transfer the merchandise to the purchaser upon its arrival.
