Hillside Forever Paws has been a family-owned business since the early 2000's. I, Wayne, grew up with dogs and have always enjoyed having them around. My wife and kids add to that and we are always anxiously waiting for a new litter to be born. The greatest reward is seeing the joy our puppies bring to the new families' lives. We strive to have the best furry companions for you and work hard to make that happen. We reside in the rolling hills of Northeast Ohio on a 57-acre standard-bred horse farm. In addition to raising puppies, we also raise racehorse foals. Springtime is such a magnificent time when we welcome our new foals into the world. Our horses and dogs are not just our business, they are family, especially our dogs. That's why we believe in treating them with respect and the love they deserve. We believe socialization is crucial at a young age. As soon as the puppies are old enough, they are acquainted with children and other pets.

I Started Breeding Dogs As Soon As I Owned My Own Property In 1988. My First Breed Was Dalmatians. Next I Bought Jack Russell Terriers And Bichon Frise. Later Added Silky Terriers And Shih Tzus. Then Added Yorkshire Terriers In 1998, Also Poodles In 2000. As My Family Grew To 6 Sons And 1 Daughter, I Started My Own Furniture Manufacturing Business In 2003. By 2008 I Had To Dedicate Myself To My Family And The Furniture Business, So I Sold All My Dogs. All My Children Worked In The Furniture Business At One Time Or Other, Plus Had Hired Workers! Then In 2018, I Decided To Take On A Challenge With French Bulldogs And Put My 20 Years Of Experience In Dog Breeding To Work Again. So With The Intent Of Being A Hobby Breeder, I Bought My First Frenchie Female (Nov 2018). With A Goal In Mind Of Adding 1 Female Every Year Till I Have 5 Breeding-Age Females.
