The Swarthmore CO-OP is a community-owned food cooperative with a brick & mortar market that's open to everyone. Over 1,800 households within our community help financially support the CO-OP and allow us to bring locally farmed food options to your table, educate your children about sustainable farming, feed local families in need and host fun community-based events. The Delco Times recently named the Swarthmore CO-OP the best local market in the area.

Beverly Carp began her artistic endeavors as a china painter emphasizing her unique style and creativity. After running Personally Yours, a very successful gift shop for 29 years, she has now decided to concentrate on her porcelain creations at The Painted Name (www.thepaintedname.com) and Fine Judaica (www.finejudaica.com). There are many steps to creating one of a kind personalized porcelain gifts. Bev begins with a piece of high quality plain white porcelain and decorates it with the design of your choice. She then uses a special brush, crow quill pen, and lead free china paint to uniquely personalize each piece. The porcelain is carefully fired in a kiln overnight at 1700 degrees making the paint permanent.
