Captain Doug heads a team of 7 captains who are all seasoned local fishermen and tournament winners and know these waters very well. Whether you want to do some fishing on your own or spend quality time with your family, they’ve got you covered. You will be fishing aboard a 22’ Sea Hunt center console boat that is equipped with a 200 HP Yamaha engine that can have it speeding up to an impressive 45 knots. Apart from the regular safety and navigation equipment, the boat has a live-well for bait and a wireless trolling motor for when you need to run silent. A typical trip will have you fishing the inshore and nearshore waters in the Gulf of Mexico for species like Redfish, Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Cobia, and more besides. The captains are skilled in a variety of techniques that include fly fishing, but fly fishermen will need to bring their own gear. Quality rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of the trip, and anything you catch during the trip will be cleaned and filleted for your convenience. It is highly recommended you bring a pair of sunglasses and sunscreen, as well as drinks and snacks if you’re so inclined. This charter is suitable for children aged seven and older. Our Mobile Bay charter near shore and deep-sea fishing trips start with the captain pulling a shrimp troll for your bait while the Dolphins swim along side. Then head to the Gulf of Mexico for some line pulling- rod bending action. No Fishing License needed. We provide live bait, ice, fuel, state of the art tackle and late model vessel. All that you will need are your personal snacks/drinks, sunscreen and your camera.
