The Napanook vineyard is nestled in a natural amphitheater at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains on the west side of the Napa Valley. Fed by winter rains, its underground springs flow through ancient riverbeds and provide a natural supply of water to its grapevines, allowing them to develop deep roots.
Over centuries this fertile benchland’s microclimate has provided ideal conditions for crops and grape growing.
It was here, in 1838, that George Yount planted Napa Valley’s very first vines.

Nestled in the charming town of Yountville in the renowned Napa Valley wine region, The Estate is a luxe, new lifestyle destination set on a lush and alluring 22-acre village-within-a-village.
The first of its kind, The Estate has redesigned the Wine Country experience in a delightfully vino-cultured manner accentuated by two luxury hotels with decidedly different personalities – the good and oh-so-social Hotel Villagio and its sophisticated counterpart, Vintage House, a chic and tranquil sanctuary.

Ronda Schaer opened RASgalleries in the fall of 1990. RASgalleries displays well over 200 American glass artists, many of them the undisputed masters of their difficult but compelling craft. The gallery also regularly sponsors single artist shows that draw devotees of the medium from across the country. Artists from the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California are heavily represented of course, as well as those from the Pacific Northwest, the Eastern Seaboard and points in between. The gallery also is home to the largest collection of hand-blown perfume bottles in the northern part of the state, and always has an ever-changing display of one of kind sculptures. Recent additions to the gallery's repertoire are a limited number of ceramics and original fine art.
