J Bar H Outfitters is a full-time professional family owned and operated big game hunting and fishing outfitter located in NW Colorado. We offer first class hoseback hunting and fishing trips. Fully guided and unguided. Pack-in wall tent camps as well as comfortable cabin accommodations. J Bar H Outfitters brings over 40 years of experience in the Rocky Mountains. The area we hunt is non-motorized and we use horses and mules on our hunts. The area we hunt, GMU 12 is home to part of the largest migratory elk herd in North America, the White RIver elk herd. A four point antler restriction has been in effect for many years now and this has greatly improved the quality of bull elk in our hunting area.
