The Nishna Valley Family YMCA is a 501©3 not-for-profit organization headed by a volunteer board of directors. Nine full-time staff carry out the mission of the organization. We received our first charter in 1890. The Nishna Valley Family YMCA’s purpose is to provide programs and services to the Cass County and Nishna Valley area that address the needs of our constituency and that promote strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. On average we provide over 40 different programs from youth through adults as well as the use of our state of the art facility of over 46,000 square feet. We also provide membership and program scholarships for youth and families that can’t afford the regular fees. We are proud of the fact that no one is turned away due to an inability to pay. Our YMCA operates programs and facilities that strive to promote Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

We offer private parties for groups of 30 or more and can accommodate groups up to 150. We can work with smaller groups if need be but prefer smaller groups to come on our public open skating. We offer roller skate rental only but allow roller blades from outside as long as they have brakes on them. We have candy bars, popcorn, nachos, fountain pop, and bottled water for concessions and offer glow sticks and flash sticks for sale. We can get roller skates and roller blades sale orders in 1 week for that perfect gift idea!
