Veterans Memorial Park and Campground is a nice place to come and relax with the family. There is a horse shoe drive that goes thru the park, which is one way. Watch the deer come out of the woods to the east of the park to graze in the evenings, and in the sping and fall when the crops in the field are down, watch the geese and ducks land in the field. The park is still under construction. There are currently no utilities in the park at this time. When completed the park will host a dump station for RV's, two main water hydrants, gazebo, two open shelters to host birthday parties or get togethers, camp grills, fire pits, and utilities for RV's. The park does have a tournament style horse shoe pit, sand volleyball pit. The Easton City Park is located, across the road. There is playground equipment, and a sports field for children to play. Veterans and Active Duty/Guard/Reserve service members with a valid Military ID Card or veterans ID, DD214 showing honorable service can stay at park free of charge. This allows veteran and military families, time to bond together and spend time together in a quite setting, without the worry of big expenses.
