The Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre, was founded in 1991 by Betty Webster and a group of culturally minded people to provide young dancers with an opportunity to perform in a professional atmosphere while learning classical and contemporary choreography, and to raise awareness of classical ballet and the related arts on the Eastern Shore. Since then it has grown to include nearly 100 talented dancers. For over 20 years, our non-profit organization has been thrilling audiences with its breathtaking performances featuring accomplished local dancers and solo guest artists from national ballet companies, both at holiday time, and every spring with another spectacular production ranging from classical to modern interpretive ballet.
