Next Generation Martial Arts retains traditions of the old-school karate, while incorporating contemporary practices and techniques. The NGMA school mission is to provide maximum support and encouragement for each person who wants to learn Martial Arts. We want all students to feel that taking karate classes at NGMA has helped them improve both their physical strength and their mental abilities. Our goal as a school is to foster students' confidence and discipline, and to help them discover their potential. We want to encourage students to learn from each other, to help each other, and not to forget the Principals of the Dojo once they are outside of the school's walls. As the Master Instructor, Shihan Jim Cormier holds a 7th degree black belt in Okinawan Goju ryu Karate, a 4th degree black belt in Yoshitsune Jujitsu, a 4th degree black belt in Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu, a 3rd degree black belt in Hakkoryu Jujitsu, and is a World Martial Arts Hall of Fame Member.
