We sell mostly quality American Made knife products for hunting, fishing,camping, cooking and Police & Responders. We sell major brand name knife products from Buck knife, Bear Cutlery, US Steel, Boker, Black Hawk, etc. We have hundreds of knife products available but we have chosen mostly USA products for our website, OUTDOORKNIFESHOP.COM. There are cheaper knives available but they are made overseas and the quality of the steel is questionable. We have chosen to sell mostly US Brand name knife products because we know the quality of the steel in these products. We do have some fillet knives listed from overseas but they appear to have stainless steel blades and seem to do the job well. The better the grade of steel in the blade means that the knife is going to hold a cutting edge longer. We do sell knife sharpener equipment on the website and we have chosen mostly made in USA, products. We make handmade knife products for commemorative purposes for non-profit organizations to raffle off for fund raising purposes. We can make most of our major brand made knives into commemorative knives,also. We will charge extra for engraving and special cases if you wish. We will also, make a Certificate of Authenticity for all commemorative knives. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for handmade knives. My dad made knives from high carbon steel and hand shaped them through forging, pinning and tempering. He taught me how to do it and I have taken it up as a hobby and decided to go into business selling knives. Bench made knives are expensive because of the forging and tempering process. That is why I have decided to sell major brand knives. Bench made knives are great for commemorative knives because collectors like handmade products better. I have been around hunting, fishing and outdoor knife products all my life and I understand the importance of having the right steel in a knife blade. There is nothing more frustrating than processing an animal and having a knife that will not get the job done.
