The African American Fine Art Society, founded in 2003 by Mr. Charles R. Cook Jr., is an organization engaged in highlighting the works of various artists and introducing them to the community. The Fine Art Society is the host of two major events: 1) The Annual Fine Art Awards Presentation; and 2) The Fine Art Historic Art Show and Auction and sales. Also, 2012 marked the year of the production of the book "Profiles and Visions of African American Fine Art", an excellent source of art information which is not readily available to the public.
The African American Fine Art Society was created with the goal of leveling the playing field when it comes to artists. The Society is an International Art Organization that has given over 30 Art Awards to World best.
