Since 2006, when it was founded by Mary Buschman in the Adirondack hamlet of Keene Valley, Skylight Fine Art Gallery has played an important role in exhibiting works by important late nineteenth and early twentieth century American artists who came to the area, such as Homer Dodge Martin, Roswell Shurtleff, Louis Elshemius, Harold Weston, and contemporary artists interested in the landscape painting tradition such as Monica Bradbury, John Whitton Bria and Pieter Lefferts. Under Mary's direction, Skylight Fine Art has helped establish a vital dialogue among artists and collectors in New York State's Adirondack Park and beyond.
