The Big Red Baseball field is home to Denison University Men's Baseball team. The field was renovated in 2006, making it one of the top college baseball venues in Ohio. Built in 1905, Doane Dance (in conjunction with the Eisner Center) is home to Denison University's Dance Department. Originally a gymnasium, the building was also home to art studios before being renovated to house the dance department starting in 1975. A large studio/performance space seating 100 is equipped with a full set of theatrical lights and a professional sound system. The building also houses a seminar room, a student computer lab, and a conference room.

Dubbed early on as “the brownstones” for their distinctive architectural style, these residence halls feature four single bedrooms per apartment, each with a common area for shared dining and relaxing, a kitchen area with stove, oven, and refrigerator. Altogether, the brownstones house 112 men and women. They were commissioned by the Board of Trustees in 2003.

Shaw Hall is a residence hall with a mix of single, double, triple and suite style rooms located on East Quad built in 1939. The building of Brick and Bedford is designed in an Academic Georgian style. Shaw was built in 1939, by William Gehron. The building is named in honor of Denison's 12th President Avery A. Shaw and his wife. Avery Shaw took office in 1927 and deftly shepherded the college through the Great Depression until 1930.

Mitchell is home to a 200-meter indoor track, tennis courts, squash courts, fitness rooms, an Olympic-sized pool, gyms, and physical classrooms at Denison University. The Center was built by John Reid of Harden, Reid, and Jahnes of Newark in 1994 and named for Louis A. Mitchell 1957, a trustee and fourth generation Denison graduate, who was instrumental in funding the $7.3 million project. Mitchell was a star basketball player and was inducted into the Denison Athletic Hall Of Fame in 1975.

Mulberry House is home to an 1100 square foot lab with tools to help artists explore intersections of their disciplines at Denison University. The building was built in 1940 as the home of sorority Chi Omega, the first national sorority on Denison's campus. The house was renamed after the Denison chapter became inactive in 1970. An addition to the house was built in 1963.

Herrick Hall is a performance space on the academic quad that seats about 300 individuals at Denison University. It was built in 1966 by Gilbert Seltzer. The design is New Formalism in Bedford limestone. Named in honor of former geology and natural history professors Clarence Luther Herrick and brother Charles Judson Herrick who taught at Denison in the late 1800s and were instrumental in establishing Denison's reputation in the sciences at that time.

Beaver Hall is a residential community consisting of suite-style, single, and double rooms located on East Quad of Denison University. Arnold Brunner finished the building in 1925, and it was one of the two dorms for women built at the time. The dorm was named after Mary Thresher Beaver, at the request of her husband Frederick P. Beaver (trustee, 1900-1936) who donated funds for the building.

Upper Elm is an apartment-style residence hall for senior students located on the North Quad of Denison University. Initially, the four new residence halls were called Upper and Lower Elm and Upper and Lower Maple, with the notion that those names could change at the behest of significant donor support. Thanks to an anonymous gift in the Spring of 2006, Upper and Lower Maple were renamed Hayes and Wright Halls, respectively.

Huffman, a third-generation member of his family to serve as a Denison trustee, the hall was designed by Gilbert Seltzer and built in 1960. On the lower floors are a 700-seat dining hall and the Bandersnatch, a student-run coffee house and social space. Student rooms are located on the second and third floors of the building.

Bancroft House is a residential community at Denison University for six individuals located near the East Gate. The building is named for Ashley Bancroft, an active abolitionist and the first meeting of the Ohio State Anti-Slavery Society was held in his home. The house was also a station on the Underground Railroad and early childhood home of Hubert Howe Bancroft, Ashley's son who is also a renowned Pacific Coast historian. The home was part of the Deeds Purchase of 1917.

Deeds Field-Piper Stadium currently serves as the home field for the Denison football, field hockey, lacrosse & outdoor track and field teams.
Opened during Homecoming Weekend in 1921, Deeds Field was a gift of Colonel Edward A. Deeds, a member of the class of 1897 and a trustee from 1912 to 1960. Piper Stadium is named in honor of legendary single-wing coach Keith Piper, who coached at Denison for 42 years from 1951 to 1992.

It was built by Gilbert Seltzer, campus architect upon the death of William Gehron. The design is a modified Georgian Revival style made from red brick and stone. The building is dedicated to Frederick C. Crawford, trustee, 1944-1994.

The Homestead is a student-run community with a focus on sustainability at Denison University. The community is home to an "earth ship" and houses 12 students in total. The first of three wooden cabins built by students was constructed in 1977 as part of an alternative living project proposed and led by the late Robert W. Alrutz, a professor of biology. One of the three cabins burned in the winter of 2000 and "Cabin Phoenix," constructed with rammed earth, tires, and straw bales, took its place.

Stone Hall was originally built as a women's dorm but was later converted to apartments for faculty and staff. The design is Jefferson Federal Revival style in brick and stone. The hall was named for Dr. Marsena Stone, the second principal of the Young Ladies' Institute (1861-1869) and professor.
