From the beginning, fitness, for lack of better words, has always been an important part of my life. As a child, my energy was substantial so my parents focused that energy with activities out of doors as well as in gymnastics. Once I entered the junior high, team sports as well as track dominated my life until I graduated from high school. Not being a collegiate athlete, I turned to running and strength training as an outlet. With my official schooling completed, I started my teaching/coaching profession. It was here I truly began to see that our youth, and really our whole population, were in great peril due to lack of daily movement. However, it wasn't until after I had my own children and hit 40 years old, that I decided the best way to help our children is to help the parents, more specifically, the mothers. So, at the ripe age of 40 I became a certified personal trainer and started helping mothers in my community, finding my real passion. Since then nutrition and biomechanics of the body have been added to my passion after realizing that all three are intertwined. In 2012, I took a class that changed my physical and professional life - TABATA BOOTCAMP! From hour one, I was hooked and dedicated. The program is holistic, succinct, "easy", and motivational. Because the program is so rewarding and successful, I am now a master trainer for TABATA BOOTCAMP so I can teach other trainers this program so they too can touch and change lives.
