Jay King's Karate Dojo was started in 1980. We teach okinawan karate and kobudo(weapons) to students ages 41/2 and up. we compete in the AAU karate circuit. Our main goal is not competition but building black belts from the inside out making each student a unique and special person. It is important to us to build good character and to teach life skills at alll ages. Our students are held to high standards for each rank that they earn. It is not important the rank that you attain but that the lessons that you learn along the way. Our classes are grouped together according to age and skill levels. we offer little dragons 41/2-6 , kids 7-12 beg, inter,advanced, teens and adults.
