Located in a classic Mountain setting, the Sky Valley golf course opened in the mid 70's. Bill Watts, course architect, capitalized his design using the natural features in the valley which were present long before a golf course was envisioned. With the elevation of this course the highest in Georgia, it is significantly cooler than courses elsewhere in the state.

Toms Golf Tours was formed 15 years ago by myself - Tom Chillemi. I have been a PGA Golf Professional for over 40 years. After escorting some members on a trip to Ireland and Scotland that was arranged by another company I said I want to do this myself.
I started making arrangements with the golf courses, lodging and transportation to arrange these trips.
I now have arrangements with any course in both countries and am an associate with the Old Course in St Andrews for guaranteed tee times on the Old Course.
I arrange about 10-12 trips per year of which I personally escort about 3. The rest have the services of my associates in both countries to handle every detail.
I will be happy to furnish references from past travelers upon request.
