For many years, we have dreamed of starting a small family farm to raise and grow our own food and live a more sustainable lifestyle. With the rising costs and the low quality/low nutrition of today’s commercially available foods, we decided it was high time to do something about it. After experiencing health challenges and finally realizing the importance of high quality nutrition intake, we have committed to producing truly organic, nutrient-dense foods from our gardens and livestock. While looking for the perfect land out in the country and researching what to do and how to go about all of this, we decided to bloom where we’ve been planted. Right smack dab in the middle of Elm Springs, AR. Yep, an "Acre and a Dream™" is where we’re starting and excited about what the future holds. There’s always a lot to do around a farm. Many preparations have been made for this endeavor and even more are still on the to-do list. Our farm will raise and breed Kinder® Goats, excellent for both meat and milk. With the arrival of our Kinder® Does in October, Acre and a Dream™ Farm will officially kick off our Caprine adventure. We expect to have kids this winter and fresh, raw milk this spring. Next in the line-up will be our Arkansas Homestead™ Goats or "Arkies™" as we like to call them. We hold our Arkansas Homestead™ Goats to the same breed standards as our registered Kinders®. However, Arkies™ are not a registered breed. This allows for a less expensive option for families and homesteads to obtain the amazing benefits of these perfect goats. So, to all of you, we say welcome to Acre and a Dream Farm™ - A little patch with a big difference℠. Looking forward: We will be adding several different types of products in the coming months and years ahead. Some of these offerings will include bounties from our organic gardens (vegetables, herbs, and fruit), Goat Milk products, Farm-fresh Eggs, Pasture-raised Chicken, Raw Honey, and Grass-fed Meat Rabbits. All of our animals and gardens are raised organically, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and non-GMO to provide the end-user a highly nutritious food product for your health and a clear conscience.
