The Equine Gourmet began to give horse owners the opportunity to purchase quality treats since most of the treats we were buying were nothing more than chemicals and junk disguised in flavors horses like. We baked many dozen to share with our friends' horses. Not only did the horses whinny in delight, but their owners couldn't say enough about the treats. So we began baking for friends, local horse shows, and of course, the horses. The Equine Gourmet was born. Today, we're a national company. We absolutely love that horses everywhere are enjoying our treats. However, as large as the Equine Gourmet might grow, we will still maintain the quality that was born years ago in a small kitchen.
