Welcome to Beinhart Farms LLC! Our journey began in the summer of 2013 when we moved to our beautiful farm in Southern Iowa, where the sunrises and sunsets are truly breathtaking. We started with 30 cow/calf pairs, and over the years, our cattle herd has grown to nearly 100 pairs. Along with expanding our cattle, we’ve also added meat chickens, laying chickens, and pastured pigs to our operation. In addition to expanding our livestock, we’re passionate about building a more sustainable future. That’s why we focus on regenerative farming practices like multi-species grazing, which helps promote biodiversity and soil health, while reducing the need for artificial inputs. Our no-till approach ensures the soil structure stays intact, while cover cropping helps to prevent erosion, retain moisture, and provide essential nutrients to our fields.
