Founder and Owner, Andy Ott, was born and raised in Waverly, Iowa and grew up in the construction business doing all facets of carpentry.  Andy created Simon Sez Powerhouse Incorporated (SSPI Solutions) in the spring of 2003 in an effort to keep up with the growing need of installers available to do retail store installations throughout the midwest. Starting out as a 3 man shop with 2 key contractors, they quickly grew to 5-6 very capable crews, within 2-3 years of business.  Growth continued even through the stagnant economy of the late 2000’s because of quality work out in the field, on-time reporting back to customers, efficiency, use of cutting edge technology, and a continual drive to provide the best service possible.   The backbone to SSPI Solutions has been sign and lighting maintenance, including retrofitting and LED installations, excelling in annual service contracts in 23 states. They also specialize in rollout installations - everything from vinyl graphics, to store fixtures, and construction projects.  Tree Services is the newest branch of SSPI Solutions, which budded in the fall of 2018 out of the love for his family and the great outdoors. For years, Andy’s family has managed timber land in order to accommodate a passion for wildlife and habitat improvement, and in an effort to provide a lasting opportunity to hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors for generations to come. As their experience and equipment continued to expand, so did opportunities to work with other land owners and farmers in regards to land clearing, food plot prep and planting, as well as tree removal and tree planting. Word of these services began to spread through the community and more and more requests came through for tree removal. As a result, SSPI Solutions started to offer official Tree Services to the local community, businesses, and land owners, which include: Tree & Stump Removal, Brush & Stump Mulching, Firewood & Mulch Sales, Land & Selective Clearing, and Food Plot Prep & Planting. With strong roots and cultivating new ideas and solutions, who knows where they will branch out next!
