I was raised in a small city in Northwest Ohio called Wauseon. I met my husband in High School and we now have three beautiful children together. My family had cats growing up, but I didn’t own a dog until after I was married. It wasn’t until after graduation, when I was still finding my niche, that a friend of mine told me about the place where she was working. I loved animals, but had never thought to make a career around beloved pets. I ended up becoming a Supervisor at a Boarding, Daycare and Grooming facility that provided me with the best job I’ve ever had! I gained experience in dog and cat language and fell in love with Grooming. My boss was more than happy to get me going onto my Grooming Career. In 2019, I graduated at the Toledo Career Institute with honors in their Pet Styling Program. In 2020, I assisted in bringing our salon up to the 2nd best grooming salon in our area! In Fall of 2020, we found ourselves moving to New Hampshire. Here, I decided to share my passion and created At Maggie’s Groomer to provide exceptional grooming services to the greater Berlin area.
