Nancy Smith created Country Cats in 2001, after Nancy knew she wanted to give cats a special stressfree environment. Nancy had been grooming since 1993 at Tender Touch in Concord, NH, and Rusty’s in Contoocook, NH, finally finding happiness at Abercrombie & Bridge in New London, NH, in 1997. She realized that her cat customers were upset with the noisy dryers and barking dogs, and set out to build a home for cats to be groomed and boarded without all the extraneous noise that comes with kennels and grooming shops!
