We are a family-run organic mushroom farm with a focus on medicinal mushrooms, bioremediation, companion planting with fungi and education. We wildcraft mushrooms in an ethical manner to ensure the health of ecosystems. We buy our growing substrates from local farmers and grow our own spawn in a labratory we built. We love educating others on the many important roles of fungi. We welcome interns and volunteers to come and share our passion.

My husband and I started Alpaca Alley LLC in 2004. We now have an award-winning herd of 100+ alpacas as well as around 70 milk and meat goats, 8 guardian dogs guarding all of the above, and 5 finewool sheep. We are using our alpaca fiber for roving, felt, and yarns. Some of our alpacas have had their fleece tested in the top 1 to 4% of alpacas tested across the country in 2012! Alpaca is a luxury fiber, called by Peruvians the fiber of the gods. Top designers like Armani utilize alpaca in their luxurious clothing and outer garments. We have such fine fleece now that it has become hard to find a mill to process it, as most mills have wool equipment. However, now that we have found a mill or two, our yarns are spectacular.
