The House Family Winery is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains in the town of Saratoga, CA. The vineyards are part of the Santa Cruz Mountain AVA. The microclimate is part of the Chain of Gold dubbed by Paul Mason the historic CA winer maker. Our vineyards are all hand farmed to meticulous standards which results in grapes that are over the top in quality. Our wine maker, Jeffrey Patterson from neighboring Mt. Eden Vineyards, takes an old world approach to wine making. He lets the grapes express their nature flavors and those of the terrior by using minimalistic procedures in making the wine. This allows our hand-crafted wines to show off their full flavor potential and that of the terrior. Our Chardonnay is made in the Burgunian Style while our Cabernet Sauvignon is of a Bordeaux Style.
