Blankiet Estate is located on the western foothills of the Mayacamas mountain over-looking Yountville in the Napa Valley. A stunningly beautiful vineyard was planted in 1996 by David Abreu for Claude and Katherine Blankiet. Less than a thousand cases of two flagship red wines are produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wines are made by Denis Malbec, former cellar master at Chateau Latour. Robert Parker validated the terroir at Blankiet Estate stating that the wines produced are: "World class, combining the extraordinary power of the site with unbelievable elegance and definition". Tamber Bey Vineyards, located in Yountville, is renowned for its 100% estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Chardonnay. The grapes grown in the Estate Vineyard, located in the Oakville appellation, are used exclusively by Winemaker Thomas Brown to produce the handmade, cool-climate 100% 'Estate' Cabernet Sauvignon, Tamber Bey's flagship wine. At Tamber Bey’s second vineyard, the Deux Chevaux Vineyard, located nearby in the Yountville appellation, grows the grapes for the single-vineyard designated wines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and a new Bordeaux blend 'Rabicano'.
