Our farm is located on Rose Hill Road in Skaneateles, where we own 250 acres in which we grow corn and hay for our 65 cows. We have 80 acres of green pasture that the cows and their calves go to every spring and stay there until the snow comes in the fall. We never use growth hormones, the steers grow just fine without them. We do vaccinate the cows and calves once a year in the fall and worm them. The steers stay on the same diet once weaned from their mothers in the fall which is corn silage and hay. This gives the meat an excellent flavor. We have perfected this since 1999 when we started our herd with 10 cows. We sell meat cuts right from the farm so we have not set hours. Just call our number and we set up a time.
