We opened our small family business nearly 15 years ago when good coffee was still being discovered. Our vision was humble, a comfortable, lovely place where people could get together and enjoy good coffee, good food , good conversation, and good community. We've known our coffee roaster for 25 years and he in turn knows personally the growers and farmers who harvest the beans that he will eventually roast to perfection. He relies on these relationships and the integrity of those he does business with to produce something that we consider better than "fair trade" and "sustainable" coffees. We believe that relationship coffees is a truer expression for an excellent product. We bake all of our goodies from our own recipes right here in our cafe kitchen. Our cafe exceeded our vision!
