Kenneth Bescak, MD, FACC, BCCL, is one of only seven lipidologists in the state of Arizona and is currently practicing at the Heart and Vascular Center of Northern Arizona. Dr. Bescak specializes in lipids and lipo-proteins in the bloodstream. A lipid can also be commonly referred to as a fat protein, and reading of lipids is instrumental in diagnosing heart disease in patients. Interested in medicine since age 10, Dr. Bescak has left a mark in the cardiovascular community by setting up clinics for cardiac rehabilitation and heart failure. He can also be found practicing at Verde Valley and Flagstaff Medical Centers.
