My husband, Kevin and I started our agency in 2002. Prior to starting RAISE, I had worked in vocational and residential settings providing services to individuals who are developmentally disabled for 23 years. We decided that we could provide a great service with experienced staff and contractors that we had encountered over the years. RAISE provides foster care, emergency respite, and supported living services to individuals with special needs. With support from our employees and contractors, we are able to assist families and their family member with becoming as iindependent as possible. We are able to give families a break by providing in-home supports, out of home socialization and recreational opportunities as well as short and long term respite dependent upon the funding available. RAISE offers living arrangements in foster homes for individuals with developmental disabillities who prefer family style living as an alternative to a group/shared living arrangement. RAISE offers HPC (Home Personal Care) to individuals who need supported living in order to remain as independent as possible and reside in apartment within their community as opposed to group homes or family style living.
