Our team works with individuals from the very young to the very old; either individually, with their families or in a group. Helping you get back to life and living is important, so we provide the tools, structure and plans to build bridges to your command over your business territory; whether your "business" is at home, school, work, or play. We strongly believe you should feel comfortable with the therapist you choose, and hopeful about the therapy. Our approach to assisting patients is an educational and consultative one. We believe that patients change because they learn how to think differently and then act on that learning. Therefore, we focus on teaching rational self-counseling skills that improve one's life outside of our office. Sessions are directed based on an agenda with goals and include a review of homework assignments as given by us and as completed by the patient. The goals of our practice are to learn what our patients expect regarding the difficulties they face and then help them to achieve these goals. Our role as therapists and consultants is to listen, teach, and encourage, while your role as a patient is to express concerns, learn, and implement that learning.
