Dr. Brandon Meckelberg earned his DDS from Marquette University and is passionate about building meaningful relationships with his patients. Dr. Maria Lahti received her Doctorate of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. She then completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Keesler Medical Center at the Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her Fellowship was completed in Cardiovascular Disease at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. She is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Lahti is passionate about ensuring high-quality, compassionate care with her patients. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with patients and their families, enabling her to provide education and care tailored to their needs. FUN FACT: Dr. Lahti is a former professional organist and retired Colonel USAF after 27 years of service.

Vincent Van Berkum, MD, joined TMH Physician Partners - Primary Care in Panama City Beach in 2025 as a primary care physician. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. During his training at the USF/MPM Family Medicine Residency in Clearwater he discovered his passion for family medicine and comprehensive patient care. Dr. Van Berkum provides high-quality primary and preventive care to adolescents and adults of all ages. He treats a variety of conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes with a focus on helping patients stay healthy through preventive care and practical lifestyle guidance. A Panama City Beach native, Dr. Van Berkum chose TMH to return to his hometown and provide excellent care to its vibrant community. He is excited to contribute to TMH's growth in the area and support its mission to expand much-needed healthcare services along the Gulf Coast.

Mohammed Karaman, MD, joined TMH Physician Partners - Primary Care in Panama City Beach in 2025 as a primary care physician. He is committed to providing high-quality, personalized care with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management and long-term health. Dr. Karaman earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Orlando Health Regional Medical Center, Central Florida's only Level I Trauma Center. His training there gave him extensive experience managing complex and critical conditions. A Panama City native, Dr. Karaman is proud to return home and serve the community where he grew up. His practice focuses on adults of all ages, including geriatric patients, with special interest in managing complicated medical conditions. He believes that truly listening to patients and understanding their goals is key to building trust and delivering the best care possible.

Ashley is originally from Toledo, OH and I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at University of Dayton. Next, she earned her Master's Degree at Kettering College in the Physician Assistant program. While attending Kettering College, she was the student representative for the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Ashley is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
