Cedar Valley Primary Care & Walk-In Clinic sees a multitude of walk-in and scheduled patients needing nonemergent care. The current practice has grown to include multiple providers and board-certified physicians all under one roof. The new location will allow patients of all ages to be treated by knowledgeable, trusted providers wherever they are located. The new Cedar Valley Primary Care & Walk-in Clinic opened on January 3, 2023 and is located in Parkersburg, Iowa at 305 3rd Street.

Brandy Reints, ARNP is the newest provider at Cedar Valley Primary Care & Walk-in Clinic in Parkersburg, Iowa. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Ellsworth Community College. Following that, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Allen College School of Nursing. Brandy has gained a lot of work experience over the years, working as an ARNP at Grundy County Memorial Hospital, Unity Point Health Urgent Care and Marshalltown Hospital Emergency Department. Not only that, she has excellent organizational skills, working as the Director of Nursing at both Westside Assisted Living Suites and Clarksville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Cedar Valley Mental Wellness is open to the public in Parkersburg, Iowa and will be providing mental wellness services. Mental wellness services are provided by Kelsie Swisher, ARNP and Megan Heise, ARNP who have been practicing providers in the Cedar Valley for multiple years.

Carly K. Pollock, LMHC graduated from Upper Iowa University with a Master degree in Counseling. She is a provider at Cedar Valley Mental Wellness. Carly sees patients 5 years old and older. Prior to joining Cedar Valley Mental Wellness, Carly was a therapist at Black Hawk Grundy Mental Health Center.

Dr. Violet Hunter earned her medical degree from the College of Health Sciences at Makerere University in Uganda in 2013. She then completed her residency in 2019 at the Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation in Waterloo. Dr. Hunter has a special interest in wound care, holistic health, weight loss medical management, as well as treatment for chronic and acute illnesses. She is a member of multiple foundations and committees including the Quality Management Committee of Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation and the Rounding Committee at UnityPoint Allen Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hunter has a longtime passion for volunteering within the community and putting others needs before her own.
