We provide hospice services and care to our patients in the following parishes: East and West Feliciana, St. Helena, Livingston, East and West Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee, Iberville, Tangipahoa, St. Landry, St. Martin, Assumption, St. James and St. John Parish. Medicare, Medicaid, The Department of Veteran's Affairs, most private insurance plans, HMO's, and other managed care organizations pay for Hospice. This includes payment for professional staff visits and services, medications for pain management and symptom relief, and supplies related to the hospice diagnosis and included in the hospice plan of care. The medical directors at Life Hospice will work closely with your physician of choice to develop a plan of care that is coordinated with you and your caregiver's input.
