Dr. Donald W. Doucet attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before setting his sights on LSU New Orleans, where he earned his Medical Degree in 1982. He performed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the former Earl K. Long Medical Center, which he completed in 1985. Dr. Doucet moved to New Roads, LA to start his practice and has lived and worked there ever since. After almost 30 years in private practice, Dr. Doucet joined The Baton Rouge Clinic with his daughter Dr. Ashley Bordelon in the summer of 2015. Dr. Doucet is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana and is certified with American Board of Internal Medicine. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, he is also a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, the Pointe Coupee Parish Medical Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Currently Dr. Doucet serves on the Board of the Pointe Coupee Health Services District as well as on the Guaranty Bank and Trust Company Board.

Dr. Christian N. Smith is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to caring for patients of all ages with compassion and a focus on long-term wellness. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from Northwestern State University in 2016, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree in 2022 from St. George's University, Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency training at the Mississippi Delta Family Medicine Residency in Greenville, Mississippi, where he served as Chief Resident in 2025. Dr. Smith is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. His clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and in-office procedures including joint injections, skin biopsies, abscess drainage, and laceration repair. Dr. Smith is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to providing accessible care for Spanish-speaking patients.

A New Roads native, Dr. Ashley D. Bordelon attended Louisiana State University for her undergraduate degree, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008. Afterwards, moving from the Red Stick to the Crescent City, she earned her Medical Degree from the LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans in 2012. Dr. Bordelon performed her Residency in Internal Medicine at the Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. In the summer of 2015, she joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in New Roads with her father Dr. Donald Doucet. Dr. Bordelon is the Hospice Medical Director and Chief of Staff at Pointe Coupee General Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Pointe Coupee Parish Medical Society. Dr. Bordelon is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana.
