I’m Emily Cohen, an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. In my practice, I have successfully treated a wide range of health issues including back pain and migraines, allergies, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), PMS, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety and stress. Often my clients have already tried Western medicine, and have reached the limits of what it has to offer for their condition. When people have stubborn symptoms and complex chronic conditions, an approach like Chinese medicine is often very helpful, because it focuses on the whole person, and helping their system come into balance. I love people. I enjoy working together with my clients to understand their goals, and help them move toward them. For one person that might mean simply reducing hip pain. For another, it might mean helping them to feel more balanced emotionally as well as physically, and to make healthier lifestyle choices.
