Dr. Joseph Lawless began his optometric career in New Baltimore in 1981, acquiring the long- established practice of Bruno Wisney, O.D. In 1987 the practice was relocated from downtown New Baltimore to its current location in the Spectrum Professional Building. Our practice focus is on complete family eye care, including premium quality frames and lenses, as well as specialty contact lens fittings, and laser vision co-management. Dr. Lawless also has a special place in his heart for kids, especially those with vision related learning problems. Joseph J. Lawless O.D. graduated with honors in 1980 from Ferris State College of Optometry. He did his undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University where he was a biology major and a psychology minor. Since graduation, Dr. Lawless has completed extensive post- graduate training in the fields of visual processing and vision therapy.
