Michael Rouff, DMD, NMD, has a private practice in Thorofare, New Jersey. After the inception of his practice, Dr. Rouff decided to expand into the field of naturopathic medicine because he sees the mouth as only part of total body health. Naturopathic medicine relies on the view of the whole body while treating a disease and incorporating diet and lifestyle changes into the body's innate ability to heal itself. Dr. Rouff felt as though he could help his family by studying naturopathic medicine, and treat diseases beyond that of the mouth. With the view that with education, one can understand disease, Dr. Rouff is also an adjunct professor teaching dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. By expanding his practice to include integrative holistic dentistry, Dr. Rouff is considering the body as a whole, in harmony with nature.
