She received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey, and a master of science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University, where she was also a teaching assistant for the undergraduate nursing program. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as the Dermatology Nurses Association, and dedicated to remaining up to date on current and best practices in the field.

Dr. Hutman was in private practice in Montreal, Canada for over 20 years, before moving to the United States. While in Canada, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at McGill Medical School and acting Chief of Dermatology at the Jewish General Hospital, a primary teaching hospital of McGill.

Perel Politzer, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group. Her journey into dermatology was motivated by a deep personal connection when a family member struggled with severe eczema. Determined to make a difference, Perel earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Touro College and continued on to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University.
