Chad Joseph Gretzula, D.M.D. was born and raised in Dickson City Pennsylvania. Growing up in Dickson, Dr. Gretzula was very athletic playing basketball, baseball, soccer and also participated in cross country running. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman being in Boy Scout troop 73. Dr. Gretzula is the eldest of three boys, his brother Scott is a police officer in Dickson City and his brother Jason is in healthcare. Dr. Gretzula's interest in medicine started at a very early age. Both of his parents had told him that since the age of five he wanted to become a doctor, as he was always showing an interest in medicine. In high school at Bishop O'Hara, while a member of the anatomy/premed club, he was introduced to medicine and able to see a variety of fields including Oral Surgery.
