Vision Statement Tri-Area Community Health will be regarded as a Model Health Center of the Future, transforming our communities' health through team-based care and innovation. Primary Service Area We primarily serve residents of three Virginia Local Health Districts who live in the counties of Carroll, Floyd, Franklin, Grayson, and Patrick as well as the City of Galax. We also serve as the health center for Ferrum College students.

We are a full service chiropractic practice and aim to support the health and wellness needs of our community. We are committed to providing top quality chiropractic care to you and your family. Our office has has cutting-edge technology to better diagnose and provide ongoing treatment to our patients.

Doula Support: 1 Free initial interview to meet and discuss my role at your birth. I encourage your husband or partner to be there. 2-3 Prenatal visits: this is the time in which I gather more important information; discuss your plans for birth; talk about fears and concerns; and practice pain coping, and other comfort measures. (I recommend taking my child birth classes where you will learn pain coping practices and to prepare your heart and mind to give birth). 24/7 on call support by phone or e-mail ten days prior to the beginning of labor. Continuous support at the onset of labor I provide child birth preparation classes, belly casting, and planning for blessingway ceremonies.

Healing Tree Wellness Center is an integrated, holistic center specializing in pain relief and health recovery. Our center is home to a group of gifted practitioners who work collaboratively to assist you in achieving and maintaining your health goals.

This is a small, rural practice. In a small town, everyone knows each other through multiple social contacts. Helping people get well, make life transitions, and connect to their community is a big part of our job. Barter options are available as goods, volunteer time, and community service. All in-state insurances are accepted. The doctor participates with the Free Clinic of the New River Valley, and disaster relief work. Our psychotherapist participates with the Mental Health Association. House calls are available to established patients for newborn or handicapped patient care.
